Straight Lines, No Chaser
In Life: Clean lines are important so that our children learn how things are supposed to be instead of how they appear to be. Be encouraged to get in the habit of living life proper as it is a fact that life has an order. We often get comfortable when things are going well and we allow the lines to blur but just as soon as things go bad, we remember that we should have checked our lines. Know too that you can start this process wherever you are in life but you MUST be ready to change.
It is very important to check your lines daily as they may have blurred in a storm.
In Relationships: Clean lines are important as we understand that our mate comes from a different upbringing and communication and hard work is necessary to merge your lives. I highly recommend that both parties have an honest conversation immediately after the initial meeting and after establishing the attraction. Be real about what you need from one another and know that if he/she won’t talk in the beginning, they won’t talk in the relationship. Hold more loyalty to your lines than to the attraction and understand that it is perfectly okay to pass on a relationship when you don’t feel that the other person will respect your lines. Don't sacrifice your lines for the sake of a "temporary" thing.
REMEMBER; If you don’t think enough of yourself to keep your lines straight, no one else has to or will. In life and relationships, communication is key and you can have a great conversation now or you can wish you had had one later. Real Talk! Let's chat next week!
